Marine Lab
The Banyan Tree Maldives Marine Lab, Velavaru, protects the ecosystem of the coral reefs through a research and conservation programme. There are marine biologist who monitors local marine life such as turtles, corals, fishes and the surroundings around
Guests have the opportunity to attend marine biology classes to gain a better understanding of marine life. Within this programme a guided snorkelling safari to explore the coral reefs is included. Planting corals in the lagoon is also a part of the coral replanting programme.
Water Sports Centre
Windsurfing, catamaran sailing, wake boarding, water skiing and canoeing are some sports at the water spots centre.
Small sized meeting facilities
Meetings and conferences can be organized according to the needs.
